The town sits on higher ground looking out over Chat Moss, so some gardens slope and plenty catch the wind. Between the old loopline path along the guided busway, Astley Street Park and the Bridgewater Canal down at Astley Green, it’s an area with good green space on its doorstep. We like keeping the private gardens up to the same standard.
