It’s an old town, a market charter going back to 1253, and a long history of coal and cotton before it became the commuter town it is today, and that history shows in its gardens. The housing mix keeps our work varied. It’s also a greener town than people give it credit for. Central Park and Hall Lee Bank Park sit right in the middle of it, Eatock Lodge is a well-used patch of green down at Daisy Hill, and once you get out towards Hart Common and Chew Moor the gardens back straight onto open farmland. Plenty of space, plenty of weather, and plenty of work for a landscaper.
