Fencing Installation & Repair in Greater Manchester
Fence installers for gardens: fencing supplied and fitted, from single panels to full perimeters, straight and solid the first time.
Fencing Installation & Repair
A fence is one of those jobs where the difference between doing it properly and doing it cheaply shows up two winters later. We dig posts to the right depth, set them in postcrete, and make sure every panel is level and true, so your fence is still standing straight when next door’s is leaning. It’s the sort of fencing we fit week in, week out round here.
We install close-board fencing, also called feather edge, along with panel fencing, picket fencing and everything that goes with it: concrete or timber posts, gravel boards, trellis toppers and garden gates. Everything is supplied and fitted, so you don’t have to source panels yourself. If the old fence needs to come out first, we’ll strip it, cart it away and leave the garden tidy.
Fence repair is a big part of our work, especially after storms. If you’ve lost panels or a post has blown down, rotted or snapped at the base, we can usually fit replacement fence panels or reset the post rather than start again, and we’ll always tell you honestly which one makes sense for your budget.

Fencing FAQs
It depends on the length, height and style. As a rough guide, panel fencing works out cheaper than close-board, and timber posts cheaper than concrete. We quote per job after a free site visit, so you get an exact written price before anything starts.
Most domestic fencing jobs take one to two days. A single 6ft panel or post swap is usually done in a morning; a full garden perimeter with old fence removal might run to two or three days.
Concrete posts last decades and never rot, but timber looks softer and costs less up front. In exposed gardens we usually recommend concrete posts with gravel boards, because that combination survives the wettest winters.
Yes. Removal and disposal of the old fencing is included in the quote. We take all waste away and leave the garden tidy.
Your title deeds usually show which boundary you own, often marked with a "T". If it’s shared, many neighbours split the cost of a replacement. We’re happy to quote either way and can fit the fence facing whichever direction you agree.
